Spanish Charm

Today I got my first real taste of Spanish charm. Little funny, but enjoyable. I slept pretty much all afternoon because I have been feeling tired lately and I kept almost falling asleep in class today. It was nice.

After dinner I went to the sala to watch the Real Madrid Champions League game...they lost (haha) and I sat with this group of guys who go to the police academy. One of them started talking to me about speaking with them in English if they needed it because they have a big exam on Saturday and there is an english portion.

Eventually I was talking with the four of them, and surprisingly I was understanding what they were saying and I felt decently comfortable talking. There was only one time when they said, no idea what you just said. haha. It was funny though because at one point the one guy said, "Beautiful Martha...or pretty Martha. Is there a difference between the two words?" And I explained that Beautiful was on a higher level and he said, "ok, then it is beautiful Martha." hahaha.

They invited me to go out this Saturday with them to celebrate finishing their exams. Could be fun...
